Rise

Greek olive oil with a heritage spanning over millennia

We source our polyphenol oil from a small village in the historical region of Arcadia, Peloponnese, Greece. For many years, this area focused on farming.

It has allowed wild olive trees to grow alongside useful herbs and fragrant plants. Greek olive farmers nurtured these elements with precise attention during an ageless ceremony. Thanks to all these aspects, the olives grown in this area have an exceptionally high polyphenol concentration.

What is high polyphenol olive oil?

Polyphenol-rich olive oil is a type of extra virgin olive oil. It has a very high amount of polyphenols. Researchers recognize these natural compounds for their potent antioxidant and anti-inflammatory properties.

These oils have high polyphenol levels because farmers harvest the olives early. This method ensures that the fruit contains the most polyphenols and is of the best quality.

People recognize them for their antioxidant and anti-inflammatory benefits. The high amount of polyphenols in early-harvested olives gives the oil its special peppery taste.

This may also provide extra health benefits. Choosing olive oil with a lot of polyphenols gives strong, robust flavors.

Polyphenols in olive oil, why they matter?

Polyphenols, powerful antioxidants responsible for the majority of olive oil's health benefits, positively influence various physiological processes. These include antiatherogenic, cardioprotective, anticancer, neuroprotective, antidiabetic, and anti-obesity effects, in addition to their own metabolism and bioavailability.*

Most extra virgin olive oils found in stores contain less than 50mg/kg of polyphenols. The presence of polyphenols exceeding 250mg/kg qualifies an olive oil as high-phenolic. Only exceptionally high-phenolic olive oils surpass 1200mg/kg of polyphenols, making us immensely proud of Rise™. The benefits of polyphenol-rich olive oil contribute significantly to overall health.
